We hope that you will find the information needed to get started in the nursing field. The nursing program at Laurel Ridge has a long history of promoting excellence in the nursing community. The Licensed Practical Nursing Program began in 1995 and graduated its first practical nurse in 1996. The Associate Degree Nursing Program began in 2000 and graduated its first registered nurse in 2002.
Students may take general education courses at any of the four college locations. Nursing programs are offered at the Fauquier Campus and Middletown campus.
Prospective students are encouraged to attend a session to learn more about the application requirements and procedures.

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the AAS nursing program, I extend our warmest welcome to you. The faculty, staff, and I are honored to be a part of your preparation in becoming a Registered Nurse. The AAS nursing program has a history of providing an excellent education in preparing future nurses. The AAS nursing program is accessible at two sites; The Middletown Campus and the Fauquier Campus.
The AAS nursing program offers a program dedicated to keeping with the needs of today’s healthcare environment. The faculty and staff are committed to helping you, our future nurses, succeed in your nursing career. Graduates from the AAS nursing program are achieving distinguished careers as caring and competent professionals who maintain high standards of excellence. As a graduate of the AAS Nursing Program, you will be prepared to meet today’s healthcare challenges and opportunities within the communities you serve.
